This policy explains what Rap Video (the “Service”, at rap-video.com) collects when you make AI rap videos and effects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.

Your photos in short

• The photos you upload are used only to render the videos you ask for and to run automated safety checks on them.
• They are sent to our AI rendering providers for those two purposes only. We do not use them to train models and we never sell them.
• Uploaded photos are deleted automatically within 2 days. Finished videos stay in My videos for 7 days, then are deleted, unless you choose to share one in our public showcase.
• Only upload photos of yourself or of people who agreed to it, and never of a minor without a parent or guardian’s consent.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and display name; with Google sign-in, the name, email and profile picture Google shares. Email sign-in uses one-time codes, so there is no password to store.
• What you create: the photos you upload, the stage, effect and settings you choose, the lyric topic you type, and the videos rendered for you. A profile picture or support ticket attachments, if you add them.
• Gift links: when you create one, people who open it see your display name. When you claim one, the sender sees how many people claimed it, not who.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the transaction details and keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs; we never see or store your card number.
• Technical data: the country your visit comes from, your device and browser type, and server logs needed to run and secure the Service.
• How you found us and what you did: the page you landed on, the referring site and campaign tags in the link (such as UTM tags), and steps you take on the site (for example adding photos, starting a render, opening checkout or downloading), under a random visitor ID stored in your browser. Once you sign in, these records are linked to your account.

How we use it

• To render your videos: your photos, settings and lyric topic go to AI video models (such as ByteDance Seedance) through our API provider, SeeAPI, only to create the videos you request.
• To keep the Service safe: photos, lyric topics and finished videos pass automated safety filters, and we enforce the content rules in our Terms.
• To store and deliver your files (Cloudflare) and to run your account, credit balance, purchases and gift links.
• To improve the Service: measuring which pages, channels and offers work, and testing different versions of pages and offers.
• To send emails you need: sign-in codes, receipts, support replies and notices about your account.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing in the showcase

After a video is made you can choose to show it in the public showcase on our site. It is never shared without that choice, and you confirm that everyone in the video agreed. A shared video is kept until you remove it in My videos or delete your account; we may also hide any shared video at our discretion. If you appear in a shared video and did not agree, tell us and we will remove it.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and measure how the site is used with our own analytics. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics only load after they allow them. We may also use Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, which set their own cookies, under the same consent. You can also block cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

• AI rendering providers and SeeAPI, for the videos you request;
• Cloudflare, for hosting, storage and databases;
• Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in, and our email delivery provider;
• authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the Service, its users or people shown in content.

Keeping and deleting data

• Photos: deleted within 2 days of upload. Videos: deleted 7 days after they are made; download the ones you want to keep. Videos you shared in the showcase stay until you remove them.
• You can delete your account from Settings, or ask us to delete anything sooner through a support ticket.
• Payment and credit records are kept as long as accounting and tax law require. Site activity records are kept while useful to improve the Service and are removed with your account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), files are served through short-lived signed links, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to some uses. You can export or delete your data from Settings, or ask through a support ticket or support@rap-video.com. If someone uploaded your photo without your permission, tell us and we will remove it.

Children

The Service is not meant for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age where you live). If you believe a child’s data or a minor’s photo reached us without a guardian’s consent, contact us and we will delete it.

International processing

We and our providers may process data in several countries, relying on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.

Changes and contact
